The fourth GOP presidential debate was held tonight in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The candidates made strong arguments, some stronger than others. Vivek Ramaswamy, Chris Christie, Nikki Haley, and Ron Desantis made their most substantial cases for their presidency.

While still leading in the polls, Donald Trump was not present on stage. The former president chose instead to hurl criticism from afar. Calling all candidates on stage" the JV team of RINO globalist candidates."

Meanwhile, in Moody Music Hall, the four candidates fought hard. Ramaswamy has continued his campaign to be chosen as Trump's VP. He continues to tout fringe theories and falsehoods in true Trumpian fashion.

Desantis again continues to rely on his track record in Florida, where he is falling among independent voters. I am intrigued to see some of his ideas in practice. The governor's approach to college debt sounded interesting.

Chris Christie is still fighting the uphill battle and claiming to be the only sane man in the village. Christie shows us his reading history when he compared Trump to "He who shall not be named." Christie still touts his tenure as governor of New Jersey for his credentials to the Presidency.

Nikki Haley is one of the stronger candidates on stage. She is a former UN secretary. She spent the majority of her evening on the defensive of Ramaswamy. Who insisted on insulting Haley's intelligence and competence.

Time will tell if any of these efforts will be in vain. As of writing this, Trump is leading in the polls by 50%+. The American people don't deserve a Trump vs. Biden round 2, but I fear that is what we will be getting.
